Elemental Insight is a next-generation elemental imaging platform designed to deliver ultra-fast, high-resolution elemental maps of the even the largest and most complex samples. Powered by cutting-edge 1 KHz LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) technology and an advanced multi-channel CMOS detection system, Elemental Insight allows researchers and analysts to image elemental distributions with micron-scale precision across entire sample surfaces – in minutes, not hours.

LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) adds an exciting new dimension to the analysis of solid samples. Elemental Insight brings the ability to analyze large samples (20 cm x 20 cm standard configuration, upgrade to 20 cm x 30 cm stage) with high-speed, high-resolution imaging. The system utilizes a water-cooled 193 nm ArF excimer laser operating up to 1000 Hz. The ESLumen expands the periodic table to include elements not normally measured by ICPMS (H, C, N, O, and F). LIBS data is handled effortlessly by iolite, providing element identification, peak integration, calibration, and elemental imaging in a single data reduction software.
